In recognition of the variety and quality of the work being pursued by the QSEc membership, “Harnessing the power of quantum technology for advancing discoveries in new materials, information science and cybersecurity” has been recognized this month (October 2023) as one of the strategic objectives of the IUB 2030 strategic plan. QSEc will continue to work over the coming few years with various academic departments on campus to secure multiple new faculty positions in this field through the faculty-100 hiring initiative.
